Home Football Games
Our Screaming Eagle Regiment performs at all home football games, held at our stadium here on campus. We also occasionally perform at some select away football games as well. Most games begin at 7:00pm. We provide music at pre-game, during the first and last quarter of the game, and during halftime. Come out and support our band and our football program at our stadium on Friday nights during the fall.
Silver Series Performances
We hold four (4) Silver Series events throughout the school year, featuring different ensembles during their respective seasons. The first of these events takes place on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at 7:00pm, in our stadium here on campus, where we will feature a demonstration performance by our 120-member Screaming Eagle Regiment. The second of these events takes place on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 7:00pm, in the SLHS Band Room, where we will feature a demonstration performance by our 25-piece Jazz Lab Band and our 25-piece Studio Jazz Ensemble. The third of these events takes place on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at 7:00pm, in the SLHS Auditorium, where we will feature a demonstration performance by our 50-piece Symphonic Band and our 50-piece Wind Symphony. The final event takes place on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at 7:00pm, in the SLHS Band Room, where we will feature a demonstration performance by our 20-piece Woodwind Choir, our 20-piece Brass Choir, and our 25-piece percussion ensemble. Admission to each of these events is free. All parents should plan to attend, as this also doubles as our four Screaming Eagle Band Boosters General Business Meetings.
Jazz Band Dinner
This event takes place on Friday, November 8, 2019, at 6:00pm, in our SLHS Cafeteria. We will be featuring all of our Jazz Combos at this performance. The event include a three-course spaghetti dinner, performances by jazz combos, and a silent auction. Tickets are $10.00, they must be pre-ordered, and will be made available in September. Please come out and support our band program at this major fundraising & performance event.
2019 Winter Concert
Our annual Winter Concert has become a much anticipated tradition for our families and our school community. Held in our beautiful large courtyard, we perform under the stars in the amazing Florida climate. We feature our Regiment Brass, the Studio Jazz Ensemble, the Percussion Ensemble, and our combined Mass Concert Bands. It will be an enjoyable evening you will not forget. Come out on December 17, 2019, and celebrate this annual tradition with us. Concert begins at 7:00pm, and the gates open at 6:30pm. Admission is free, but we encourage donations at the gate.
2020 Spring Concert
Our Spring Concert will take place on Thursday, May 7th, 2020, at 7:00pm. We will feature our Jazz Lab Band, Studio Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony. This concert will be held at the 700-seat South Lake High School Performing Arts Center Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30pm. Admission to the event is free, but we encourage donations at the door.
